Here at St John Boste we see ourselves as one big family, caring for our pupils in a friendly, secure and happy environment. We have a dedicated team of staff who work hard to provide a stimulating and engaging curriculum to ensure our pupils are given the best possible opportunities to succeed, whilst at the same time enjoying their learning.

    Our pupils help make our school what it is; they always make us proud with their fantastic attitude towards their learning, their willingness and drive to do well, their enthusiasm when faced with new challenges and the way they treat others with care and respect.Our parents and families also play an important part in the success of our school, and we highly value the support they consistently give to their children and the school community.     Year 3 Skipping

    Yesterday Year 3 took part in the annual skipping competition at St Robert of Newminster. It was a fun afternoon, competing with St Joseph’s and Our Lady Queen of Peace. St John’s came 3rd and the children came back beaming. Well done everyone!

    Ten Ten Theatre Day

    Last week Ten Ten Theatre came in for the day. The children had the opportunity to watch short plays which give a message about positive relationships (age appropriate of course) followed by a workshop for each age group. Each play is fully based on the Catholic Ethos. The children th

    Year 1 Liturgy

    Year 1 presented a wonderful Liturgy about Special People. They thought above everyone including, parents, teachers, policeman, nurses, doctors and all the special people in their lives. Well done everyone, you helped us all to remember how special peopleĀ are!

    Year 3 Assembly

    This week Year 3 presented an amazing assembly on the Ancient Greeks. They have been learning all about Ancient Greece and even making their own shields. The parents were very impressed and even learnt a thing or two themselves!
