Here at St John Boste we see ourselves as one big family, caring for our pupils in a friendly, secure and happy environment. We have a dedicated team of staff who work hard to provide a stimulating and engaging curriculum to ensure our pupils are given the best possible opportunities to succeed, whilst at the same time enjoying their learning.

Our pupils help make our school what it is; they always make us proud with their fantastic attitude towards their learning, their willingness and drive to do well, their enthusiasm when faced with new challenges and the way they treat others with care and respect. Our parents and families also play an important part in the success of our school, and we highly value the support they consistently give to their children and the school community. Teddy Bears Picnic

We loved bringing our teddy bears to school today and taking them to Our Lady Queen of Peace school for a picnic!  To celebrate the World Cup we took part in lots of football activities while our soft toys watched us!

Miners Lamp and fun run 2018

   Our annual Miners Lamp and fun run was a lovely afternoon. Everyone enjoyed it, from the qualification round to the race day! Well done to our winning boy and winning girl Spencer and Faith!

Make £5 Grow

                  This term we held another Make £5 Grow Marketplace and what a success! From slime, cakes and stress balls we made and sold it all! We raised an unbelievable total of £2000! Thank you for all your hard work and continued support!

Derwent Hill 2018

Last week Year 6 visited Derwent Hill for their annual residential. They had a brilliant time and the weather couldn’t of been better for them. From walking, swings, canoe/kayaking and of course the World Cup night! Yet another brilliant residential!
